I purchased this soap because I have darkening on my face due to sun damage. I don't go out in the sun much but I reckon that its because I sit facing a window when i'm on my laptop and the sun is directly in my face.

I also have the black mud soap and find it works very well for keeping my skin clear.

I noticed a difference after using the soap 3 times. My skin seemed brighter and smoother. I am guessing this was achieved via exfoliation. It did make my skin dry so it is essential to moisturise soon after washing one's face with this.

It is pretty expensive but reckon it will last a while if using once a day. I usually use a moisturising soap in the morning (home made honey soap) and this one in the evening. If you use it more than once a day it will dry your skin too much.

I still think it is expensive and am on the fence about whether I would buy this again.

Definitely use sun screen / block if using this, otherwise you will just be undoing the...
