Even with the best skin-care regimen, blemishes such as blackheads, whiteheads and acne will occasionally appear. Trying to remove or drain these with your fingers often just makes matters worse, and in extreme cases can result in infection and scarring.

First on the list of tools you'll receive are three different sizes and styles of loop-type comedone extractors. These are used simply by positioning the loop around a blackhead or whitehead and applying pressure. If the blemish doesn't drain on your first attempt, don't apply strong pressure; leave it and try again later.
Next are the precision tweezers with curved tips. If the comedone extractors don't work, try using the outer sides of the curved tips of these tweezers (not the points) to gently press in on the sides of a raised blemish (The tweezers can also be used to pluck eyebrow and facial hairs, and to remove splinters.)
Finally there's a fine lancet for cases where whiteheads need to be opened to release the sebum (use with caution).

Note:
Before use, wash your face and then apply a warm washcloth to your face for a few minutes to open pores. Each tool should be sterilized before use by cleaning with rubbing alcohol. Wash your face again at the end of treatment, and for best results apply an acne medication.
