I bought this to replace an expensive bonnet hairdryer, which only lasted 8 months. Not wanting to spend a lot of money on another one, I bought this attachment to use it with my regular hairdryer. It is well constructed, and there's a string at the front (not shown in the photo) to secure on your head. I've read the other reviews, some people complain that it's difficult to keep it attached to the hairdryer. I haven't had this problem because I used a concentrator nozzle on my hairdryer (it's wider than the hairdryer so it keep the hose from falling off ).

The hood attachment for hairdryer transforms a handheld hairdryer into a hood dryer. Essential for anyone who wants to "set" hair in rollers as opposed to "blow drying". I actually bought mine to replace the hood of a purpose made hood dryer. It is a great product and the only modification I would make would be to place the tightening cord to the back of the hood. It is placed at the front and so dangles in my face if I don't restrain it. It certainly makes life easy when I want to use rollers rather than just blow dry and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a "traditional set".
