This is the second of these foundation brushes I've had. The first one was from Boots at a lot more money. There was some shedding towards the end of 'life' from my first brush...but that was after over two years of daily use with Estee Lauder double wear foundation which is quite thick. This is a 'hero' I'm my eyes as it applies foundation beautifully, and means that the brush can live in my make up bag and not cover everything in foundation. I've recommended it to so many friends and now I will be telling them to buy from Amazon for this great price :)

Good, but hard to clean., 20 Aug. 2013

The concept of this is great, and so far as I can see, this is the only retractable brush out there!However, cleaning it is really quite hard. To clean it fully, you'd really need to submerse it, but that would unstick the glue...Still, I like it a lot, and am so glad I have it; keeps my makeup bag cleaner than before!

Sheds Hairs, 24 May 2015

I purchased this brush just over a year ago and it has had only light occasional use on holidays. The brush sheds hairs so I have to pick them off my face after use, and now the hairs are so lose it is unusable.
