All are hand filled with excellent quality best badger hair.Best badger hair is an excellent quality brush for those wet shavers who use a hard shaving soap, prefer a rather firmer sensation during lathering or those with coarser beard hair; badger hair is chosen because the ability of the individual hairs to absorb hot water during the shave will ensure a very effective lathering performance for your daily shave with either shaving cream or shaving soap.Each comes packaged with a matching plastic drip stand as we always recommend that, after daily use, shaving brushes are thoroughly rinsed in warm water and hung to dry. First of all, if you're looking at this and toying with the idea of getting the cheaper "small" version - don't! Well, unless you have either tiny hands or a tiny face, the small is just too.... well, small.

This one is still quite compact, but much more usable. It comes nicely packaged in a classy looking cardboard box, and comes complete with a drip stand. This is plastic and a bit lightweight, but it comes with a handy sticky pad on the back which means you can secure it to the wall. Be warned, it's very sticky - once it's up it's staying put - so make sure it's definitely where you want it if you're going to use this feature. I'd suggest you consider it a permanent fix.

The brush itself is nicely weighted, and the handle is a good, comfortable shape. The Best Badger hair holds plenty of water and if your technique's any good you'll get a good lather with this one. It lathers Proraso soap nicely, and that one's usually a tough one to get going. If you use it...

outstanding brush and incredible value for money, 15 July 2011
I love this brush so much that I bought two!!! The handle is perfectly weighted (despite being plastic) and the brush is the correct size for me. The drip stand is also great and I would recommend permanently fixing it near your sink.The brush has worked very well with both soaps and creams. If you make lather in a bowl this this is perfect for you. If on the other hand you face lather then some thing with a bit more backbone may be needed (I prefer a boar brush with my shave sticks) but it is not floppy.And the brush comes packed extremely well. Presentation is top notch and certainly gift worthy!!!Highly recommended!!!

Excellent product which I have been using for about one month now. Good foam production when used with Jagger Aloe Vera shaving soap - though the water quality may also be a factor (Dee Valley Water). However, the most pleasing feature is that it has not shed a single bristle from the start. My previous brush had the habit of shedding four/five bristles per shave which was most irritating. The stand is simple, effective and stable. The brush dries with the bristles widely spread, but soon pulls back into a much "tighter" shape when wet and loaded with soap to enable accurate soap application.
