I have been trying out these stamping plates and the detail is fantastic.
The plates arrived in a pillow cardboard envelope, each side was covered with a blue plastic protective film.
There are two sides to the stamping plates, collage side measures 12.6 cm X 6.5 cm, single image measures 2 cm x 1.5 cm.
These are a nice depth, they hold the polish and this helps the image to lift on your stamp.
I need more practice to get the reverse stamping, these plates would give you some lovely designs.
For now, I am working on placing the stamp image onto the nail. Trying out different colour combinations.

This set of stamping plates is excellent fun to use. I began with the big picture plate because my nails are quite long so I can get a full picture on the nail. When I stamp I like to do two feature nails, the thumb and ring finger were 'it' this time. But before we get to the stampy bit there is a little prep to be done.
Nails need contrast or complementary colours so black and white and some glitter seemed like an easy choice. I applied a nourishing cream, then a base coat to avoid staining and then a white matte coat (two layers) and left it 24 hours (well I had to go to work in between) but this meant the base was totally dry as a squishy base will not work with stamping. You don't really need to wait that long.
Next I peeled off the blue plastic that all the new plates come with. Tweezers are useful for this. I examined the big picture pattern and chose a diamond and leaf print for the thumb. You can use the latex around your nail that EJB also sell if you...
