not brown, more like an earthy orange, quite bright.many broke v.quickly but on the whole good product and they stayed very well once in use in the hair. Would buy them again. ~Best to inform buyers that these are bright and closer to orange, than brown . not brown at all. if you were wanting to have discrete coloured braiding bands, these would not suit at all.I liked the colour.

These are more red than brown and therefore completely pointless.Can't use them because they show up too much on my hair.

Good quality bands, 18 Feb. 2015

I plan to use mine to put in double dread extensions. Really stretchy, had a test run and one hasnt snapped on me yet, great value for money. I had real dreads once and used hair elastics that I bought from a high street retailer, they were more expensive and broke all the time if they didnt corrode or snap in my hair. I can tell these bands are going to be much better already.Thanks again! :)
