My boyfriend got me this nail drill to try as I usually go to a salon to have acrylic ones put on, which require maintenance every couple/three weeks. Usually my nail tech just uses files and buffers but there is another lady at the shop who uses a drill, and it seems to be less effort with a drill and also easier on the nail tech's own hands. I found that the instructions with this drill were a bit lacking and I ended up figuring it out myself. Now wether it's just because I'm not used to using a nail drill, or perhaps that I haven't been trained properly, I found it quite fiddly to do my own nails with it, especially doing my right hand with my left. I ended up drilling more rough than I intended and I made my cuticles quite sore. I now appreciate why nail techs train properly, and you just don't get the same result by doing it yourself.
