You get a lot of nails, but most will either be too big or too small, its a blanket stock approach, put all different sizes in the pack to cater for every size nail. Therefore, although you do get a lot of nails, you will only get a few applications out of the pack. Not something that is negative - better to have the right nail size than not.
Applying was straightforward. Take out the nail size that fits you and put in front of you. Clean your nails first with a nail polish remover to remove dirt and oil, then apply the glue and press the nail on for several seconds and the nail is applied. It will take several minutes to fully set the glue.
The nails have a tab at the top to help apply and position the nails. Once applied, this is bent backwards and forwards to snap it off, then using a file, file the nail to shape removing the spur left when snapping the tab.
I have to say they don't look like the most convincing nails I have seen. They did not look...

This is a set of false nails, which look like a French manicure. Each nail comes with a numbered tab (making it easier to spot pairs of the same size), and nail glue. The idea, for those who haven't used false nails before, is that you push your cuticles back, trim your nails, clean them for excess oils, then select the nail for each finger. Apply the glue (liberally) then push the nail onto your nail and hold for 4 seconds. Do beware about being overly liberal with the glue, or you may find it has seeped out the edges and sticks your finger to the nail as well!
These do look very good, and one person hadn't realised they were false - which is good. I do have tiny hands, so it was good to find ones better sized for my fingers, although I'd still prefer if they did a set slightly longer and narrower, but then, you can't have everything. The idea is that these last for 10 days. Well, sort of. I have had to replace at least one nail almost every day. Its not that I'm...

These, thankfully , look nothing like the cgi hand on the packet when they are on your nails, they are a lot more natural in appearance and give your nails an understated elegance.
Applying, like all work on your nails, is best done by a friend- simply because unless you are ambidextrous you will be using your weaker hand to put on one set of nails, but if getting a friend to help is not possible you can still get a good result if you take time and care over the application, but there is no denying that it is tricky.
Each nail is applied with the glue provided, this will hold it in place for up to 10 days - I normally get a week at most before the nails start pinging off, but I do seem to spend a good deal of time with my hands in or around water during the course of my day which weakens the glue and leads to losing a nail.
These are a decent length, meaning they have hit the compromise between long enough to look good and short enough to be practical and not get in...
