This premium perfecting finishing sponge comes really well presented in a white ‘gift’ class box and when I opened it the high-end quality just kept getting better. The sponge itself is housed in a really beautiful black satin bag that has gorgeous and very glamorous tassels at the ends of the rope pulls. This black satin bag is so well made upon inspection (turning it inside out to check quality of stitching and finish etc.) that when the day comes that this sponge is no longer housed in it, I will use this black satin bag to put some of my precious crystals in, its just perfect to be kept and re-used when you’ve worn out the sponge. I’ve paid money and gotten for my trouble small bags that were so badly sewn and of such diabolical quality (mass produced rubbish no doubt) that I have thrown them straight in the bin. This item was sent to me in return for an honest review. The Eliimo Perfecting Finish Sponge is a lovely item to add to your make-up kit! It is beautifully presented in a nice satiny-feel drawstring pouch and comes in a stylish Eliimo white box. The sponge itself is incredibly soft and feels wonderful against the skin.
I love that it is latex free, non-toxic, odourless and hypoallergenic which makes me feel very confident about using it on my face and it just looks and feels like a high quality product. I usually use my fingers when applying foundation, concealer etc but using a sponge really can give a flawless finish and this sponge also allows you to apply and blend primers, powders and cream blushers as well as foundations and concealers.
Using it is simple, all you have to do is:
1. Submerge sponge in water
2. Remove from water and squeeze once (it really does increase in size!)

This makeup sponge comes neatly presented in a white box and inside the box it is neatly in a beautiful little black satin bag with black tassels on each side of the drawstring.
To use the sponge you wet it and it expands in size. I found this sponge very useful to use and as it has no odour and is great for sensitive skin (which I have) it was perfect for me to use. I usually put my concealer on with my finger or a brush but when using this sponge I put my concealer straight onto my face and then blended it with the sponge. I think most people have developed their own technique for applying their makeup but where I found this sponge most helpful was that it was easy to get that "all over even" look. The front of the sponge is pointed so it was easy to use it around your nose, and under your eyes and around the front of your ears. The sponge is soft and feels really nice against your skin.
