Having purchased this brands standard gel polish, I am very pleased to report that again I am very happy with another purchase of stunning nail polish at an affordable price. With the price being somewhat less than other big brand gels that I have purchased, I was initially expecting to see a difference in quality or an inconsistency across orders but in all honesty I currently can not fault the elite99 polishes.

As with previous purchases the delivery was pretty speedy and the product was well packaged. The only thing I feel like I am missing with this purchase compared to previous starter set's ordered is a colour chart showing me what other colours are available. However, as this polish came as a single polish including the magnetic paddle in a protective bag and not in a box I can understand why one wasn't included.

As other reviewers have mentioned the colour is different to that shown, so you should be aware of...

Great as a non magnetic gel polish, 4 Jun. 2016

This gel nail polish is lovely, when I purchased it I didn't realise that it was magnetic, I just really liked the colour as I was after something that was darker as all the colours I had where light.

Plus I'd never tried a non gel magnetic polish before, obviously I'd seen them before but never given myself a manicure with one, so I was no expert!

The polish arrived quickly and I was very pleased that the bottle was a good size, I also received a little magnetic paddle with the polish so I could achieve the cat eye magnetic effect.

I prepped my nails and used the instructions which came with the polish, which said to apply a base coat (I used an Ellite99 one, from the same brand!) and cured for two minutes under my uv lamp. I then applied one coat of the colour and cured under my uv lamp again and then applied a second coat at this point instead of curing immediately I held the magnetic paddle over a nail, it said to do for 10-15 seconds, which I did and...

The colour is mesmerising and really unusual when moved in the light. Make sure that you read the instructions as you need to apply the base coat, set, apply colour, set, apply another layer of colour and then hold the magnet very closely over the nail for a few sconds before setting thn finish off with top coat. The effect is 3D and changes as you move your hands.This item was purchased at a reduced rate.
