How to clean Makeup brushes
1. Run the bristles of the brush under warm running water.
2. Apply a small amount of gentle shampoo to the bristles and work into a light lather.
3. Rinse the bristles thoroughly under running water. You will notice that the water leaving the brush is tinted from old makeup.
4. Continue rinsing until no color remains on the brush.
5. Allow the brush to air-dry.

I bought these brushes after finally trusting all the sponsored reviews that the company paid for people to say but I have to say that they weren't all they said to be.
When the package first arrived they were smaller than expected (my fault entirely for not checking size but actually really enjoyed the small size as it gave my small hands a better chance of grip) and I got them out. Brushes are very dense and soft, also heads are very flexible as advertised so no worries about breaking them. Of course I straight away took my make-up off and went to try them out. The largest brush is very good for applying foundation and the second largest great for contour and then the third largest great for concealer. Any smaller than this I have yet to find a use for as the linear brushes do not pick up my eyeshadow or brow products up and leaves a patchy look and then the smallest oval brushes do not work for lipstick (patchy) or eyeshadow (again patchy but also one of the brushes has...

The EmaxDesign Oval Makeup Brush set was delivered quickly. The set comes in a professional box complete with eight high quality brushes of varying size and function and a user manual. This would make a great item to wrap up as a gift.
The box looks great and also has instructions on how to clean the brushes and some unique features of these brushes written on the side. This item does not come with a drawstring bag, however I think this is better as it may damage the bristles.

The brushes aren't especially large, and the handles are flexible and quite bendy which can make the application of makeup a little tricky. The heads themselves though are large enough to hold though so it's not really much of an issue.
The brushes hold so much product it's unbelievable! The density of the bristles (which are incredibly soft, by the way) is remarkable and so the amount of liquid makeup and powder makeup is staggering! Blending is made so easy, and the way that it blends product onto the skin means that layers can be made as sheer and light or as built-up and full coverage as you need.
Because of the angle of the brush head in relation to the handle I've found these brushes unsuitable for eyeshadow but every other use they are perfect for, especially highlighting and contouring. The flat-headed circular brush is my new favourite tool to use for lipstick, too.
