The Travel Version. Works Well With Some Limitations., 3 Sept. 2014

This is my 5th Emjoi rapid hard skin remover that I have received for testing and review.

I've also rated two other makes- The Elle McPherson and The Scholl so I have a little experience of the benefits of these machines.

Like the others I was provided with the latest to test and review via Amazon Vine.

Now all the machines on the market all are much of the same- all battery powered.

The latest machine was mains powered.

This is a mini travel version which as you can imagine the travel bit means it does not have as many features as its bigger brothers.

I will cover the features later.

Now I am writing this review from the point of what I would want to know if I were comparing foot hard skin removers.

So my review will not be as polished as other reviewers nor their soles with this machine and this review may be slightly different from others in that I actually am comparing hard skin removers from different companies...

This is an extremely effective but gentle means of keeping your feet in tip top condition, enabling you to tackle even awkward areas such as toes and arches with minimal effort. It’s simple to use and compact enough that you could add it to your case without feeling you’ve used up too much space; it’s just a pity a travel case is not included, although you do get a brush to clean the roller, which is very handy.

You’ll need to supply two AA batteries (none are included) and be prepared to replace these regularly as the gadget gets through them at a rate of knots. The Micro Pedi Mini comes with a mineral roller already in place; this will last for a while (depending on needs, I’d estimate ten or so uses) although a spare isn’t provided and you may wish to order spares in early course so you don’t run out.

Small, convenient and effective, 7 Sept. 2014

The Micro does an effective job at removing dead skin from the feet or other areas such as the elbows. Batteries are not supplied.It's not exactly a criticism of the product itself but my better half keeps saying that it's a bit 'messy', and it's a good if not essential idea to use a fair amount of newspaper on the floor as a preparation. Other than that, no negatives really; it's surprisingly pleasant in use and the following day the feet feel smoother and almost like baby-skin (so I'm told).A plus-point is its convenient size, although I can imagine that some might prefer the larger model in the range as it looks from the pictures that it could be a little easier to operate.I can't say how this compares with any similar device as it's the only one I have used, but I can't really find anything to fault it. I like it, and my better half does too.
