At some point or another the majority of women will have been bothered by their facial hair, either the little upper lip tache, stray chin hairs or sideburns and many of us will have shelled out on being waxed, plucked, threaded or even lasered! This little gadget makes the removal of those annoying hairs so much easier to do in the privacy of your own home. The wand is about six inches long and is a tightly wound metal spring with two plastic handgrips. The grips seem well attached to the spring and there is little wobble to the wand, there is a small amount of give to the spring when pulled. Using the wand is straightforward, hold one end in each hand, bend into a U shape, then press against your face. Now you want to roll this across your face applying a little pressure, whist twisting the handles inwards and if you are doing it right you will feel the hairs coming away! I won't lie to you here, as the hairs come away expect a brief ouch moment, the odd eye water and the runny...

but I can't say I'm delighted with it, 23 May 2016

I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I ordered this, but I can't say I'm delighted with it, but I will persevere in case it's just because it's a method which is new to me. The wand itself is basically a spring which you fold into a U-shape and then roll it over your skin and it traps hairs and pulls them out. Because of the shape of it, this makes it OK to remove hairs from wider areas such as top lip or sideburns maybe, but not suitable for between the eyebrows, this is probably why they supply a separate brow trimmer, which is basically a razor. I found the process a bit stressful and uncomfortable, and after my skin was a bit red and sore, although you would also get this with waxing and plucking. I'll give it a couple more goes and see if it gets better when you're used to it, and if anything of note happens then I will update my review.

Great non-electrical, easy way to remove facial hair, 16 April 2016

Like most of the other reviewers have said - I have been made aware of having more facial hair in recent years, not that I am turning into some hairy monster, just very light 'fluff' on my face.

This Epiwand is easy to use - you do need to take a bit of time to get the technique right - but only minutes. There are several videos on YouTube but make sure you look at the right one, I noticed several people showing how they did it but it was not quite as the official instructions (which come on the back of the packet and are also on the Epiwand website). It would be very helpful if Epiwand would put a video on their own website of exactly how to do it and hopefully they will following all the feedback.

It's very easy to do, you just bend the wand and holding each end, rotate the ends of the wand while rolling the spring across your skin. The hairs get caught in the spirals and are pulled out as you roll.
