These scissors are nothing short of superb! Apart from them coming in a lovely zipped case, which protects them as well as adding value, the product itself is truly excellent. The finish on the stainless is beautifully presented, and polished to a mirror-like finish; and anyone who knows about metals (I work professionally in wood using mainly Japanese tools and any other top quality gear, and know my metals etc.) the fact that these scissors are made from Japanese stainless steel should be reassuring enough, for they produce some of the finest quality metals in the world!
There are a couple of extra features worthy of praise: The addition of a small silicone-like transparent pad on the nodule where the handles meet when closed, as one snips. It not only makes it quieter, but also less fatiguing/jarring on the hands, as it softens the repeated impacts when cutting, and the handles meet.

I am no hairdresser but my three year old daughter has long hair and keeping it trimmed and in good condition is a must. I know she won't sit still at the hair salon so I've been looking for a good pair of hairdressing scissors to trim her hair at home for some time.
The scissors arrive in a convenient zipped case which is handy for storing the scissors and keeping them separate from other sets. You'll need to keep these sharp and avoid using them to cut anything other than hair. There's space for another tool in here so I think I will be investing in an expensive comb to ensure straight line trimming. The metal used in the scissors is Japanese Stainless Steel and this offers a high gloss finish. There's a tension screw which allows you to loosen or tighten as required. My daughter's hair is very fine so I have the tension set quite high.

Wow, really impressed with these scissors. I am not a hairdresser but quite often get asked to trim family members hair, I've brought 'hairdressing scissors' previously but as I don't really know what I am investing in they have never really been the best, either too long and heavy, blades not sharp enough, too stiff or just not comfortable to use.
These lovely professional looking scissors arrived in a really nice black zip up case which has eleastic holders to keep the scissors secure - I really wasn't expecting a case but this is a real bonus as otherwise they are likely to end up with all my other scissors in my craft drawer and ger ruined - this way they will me kept seperate and in good condition.
Holding the scissors they feel comfortable and balanced in your hand and although the blades themselves are shorter that I have used previously they feel really nice to use with a crisp smooth action, I have only used the to trim my own hair just to test them out...
