I ordered ballet slippers along with bahama mama, but when they arrived they didn't match the item image and still had the old style brushes Essie used to have, which are a lot thinner and more difficult to work with. I returned as the same polishes from Boots have the newer and better brush (which has been about for a while now) and got 3 for 2 from there instead! It's a shame because Amazon sell them for a good price, I just wish it was clearer these are the older bottles.

Essie is a nail color that is highly respected. I recently read that the Queen of England wears Essie's Ballet Slippers color. I had not tried that particular co.or, and I love every shade of pink.This colord came in a kit. The pink is a lovely shade, I used two layers to provide a good co,or, but one covering would be enough if that is what you prefer. The Gel Setter, top coat is very easy to app,y, and it leaves your manicure with a lovely shine. It dries very quickly, and will provide you with a perfect manicure for a week, if you allow the gel setter to completely dry. I am very impressed with his top coat, and will use it with all of my colors.This is a nicest to give as a gift, or to keep as your own.Recommended. prisrob 05-16-16

I bought this item from Boots and it is the worst nail polish I have used from Essie. It was watery thin and difficult to apply.Three coats and still looked awful. Don't let it put you off brand as there are some lovely colours but the combination of this colour and texture was really bad.
