This thermometer seems equally as accurate as the armpit ones, but a lot less hassle as massively quicker to get a reading!, 19 Jan. 2016

I’ve had this for a couple of weeks before writing the review as, considering the type of object, I wanted to be 100% certain we had fully tested it and given it a chance to perform.

Our previous baby thermometer was an armpit-style one, which required holding our daughter still for upwards of 30 seconds to obtain an accurate reading. Needless to say, this was no easy feat.

This thermometer takes a reading so quickly that I was worried about the accuracy. We used it in combination with the armpit sensor. We even doubled up using it to take both the inner ear method and the forehead method. I’m happy to report surprisingly consistent readings throughout.

After the thorough testing I’m happy to have swapped over to using this as our primary thermometer and I can’t overstate how quickly it work. You press the button once and it takes a second or two to reset/initialise, then you either hold it lightly against the forehead or take...

A Multi-Function Forehead and Ear Thermometer, 24 Jan. 2016

This is a great healthcare product for the whole family. I have owned this one for some time now. It's a relatively compact, and very lightweight, ear thermometer, measuring about 6.25 inches (15.5 cms) long, by roughly 1.5 inches (3.75 cms) wide. The thermometer has a curved, ergonomic shape, which makes it comfortable to hold. The battery compartment is to the rear, it's easy to remove and then attach, the thermometer requires two AAA size batteries, which are supplied.

The top of the thermometer has a detachable hood, which clicks on and off quite firmly. The front of it has two, blue coloured push button controls, marked F1 and F2. To take a temperature reading from the forehead, you depress button F1, move the sensor end slowly across the forehead, and the bright green coloured, backlit LCD display then shows the temperature.

I was very amazed by the quality of this thermometer, 15 Dec. 2015

I was very amazed by the quality of this thermometer. It does come in small box which is quite easy to store in small places and is about the size of your palm. The quality is really nice and materials used to make this feel like they are of a well furnished plastic. It does not feel rough.

Judging by the quality, it will for sure work for many years if properly used.

It is quick and easy to use. I was so excited when this arrived! Finally a simple and fast way to take my son's temperature. Just slide it across their forehead and done. No more waiting for a regular thermometer. I mean when your child has a stuffy nose, the last thing they want to do is hold their mouth shut so you get a correct reading on a traditional thermometer. That is all in the past now!

My son no longer runs from getting his temperature taken. He even likes to take it himself. I highly recommend this thermometer to anyone with children or even if you want a simpler way to check...
