I love these straighteners, I have had mine for years!!!They work perfectly on my hair, which is awkward at the best of times, but tames my tresses a treat!The shape of the straighteners doesn't really allow you to create curls, like you can with GHDs, but they do allow you to tuck the hair under (like I used to when I had a bob).Since using them, my hair is less frizzy, less static and is less likely to kink in damp weather.They are the best I have ever bought (and I've bought plenty!!) without spending all that money on a pair of GHDs which to be honest, as straighteners aren't much better than FH1, if better at all.

These are my second pair of straightners and are also recommended by my hairdresser.Once I have washed my hair, it curls like mad!! I look like I have had a perm, bad news! but these straightners are FAB! They smooth my hair to precise straightness that you would never know I have curly hair. The high heat setting of 230 is very hot and can sometimes singe the ends if left on the hair too long.I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of straightners, you will not be disappointed!...they have also come down on price since I brought my last pair, so defo a bargain!The only reason I needed a new pair as they had been dropped a few times and I must confess I left them on once all day and the iron discoloured but a good thing about that was they have a thermostat and they automatically stopped at the heat setting and therefore did not over heat or catch fire! Phew!..Good Luck! :-)

I have coarse, frizzy hair. Then I discovered hair straighteners and my world changed! My hairdresser recommended FHI and for eight years they worked perfectly. A few weeks ago, thankfully just as I was about to straighten the last stand of hair! the cable cracked and started emitting sparks. I bought these because the are the closest FHIs I could find that are like my old ones. I am very satisfied with my new FHI straighteners - in fact they seem better than my old ones, and hope they last as long as my first pair. I love the pouch and the box they come in.The box is sturdy and I will use it to store the straighteners safely. The price is also very good and for the quality I would say well worth it.

Sad to say I now have downgrade my review from five to one star. If it was possible to give no star I would. The straighteners lasted about a month and were used approx. four times when they decided to stop heating up in the middle of being used. I...
