This is a very good quality flower clip. The fabric is sturdy and holds it's shape. It's beautiful and elegant looking and the colour is stunning, though more of a lighter red than the photo would suggest.However, it's rather bulky... If you wish to buy this clip to clip behind your ear with your hair down, unless you have a lot of volume to your hair, I wouldn't try it as it just sticks out from the side of your head. This kind of flower is best suited to be nestled against a bun of some sorts to hide how big the base of it is.Sadly, in my case, you can also see the white base used to stick the petals on and give it a shape.

Good brooch but not for hair (unless hair very curly), 14 Dec. 2017
Pretty, messy (glue) at back. Odd shape as it is quite deep compared to width with petals opening only at top - not suitable for use in hair for this reason but good as a brooch. However, nicer rose purchased from Claire's Accessories for £6.
