Got these for my teen daughter, who can't be trusted to keep all her makeup tools as hygienic as I would like. Use once and toss, perfect! One side has the usual oval-shaped tip and the other end is pointier, both with enough padding to pick up plenty of shadow. She also likes the fact that using a new, clean applicator ensures that she is getting the correct shade of shadow and not a "mixture" of different powders on a makeup brush.
