I have just had an eye operation and was not given an eye patch or shield so I have been sleeping with gauze taped over my eye. I bought an eye patch from the chemist locally and it was too small (though only comes in one size) and the elastic was too tight. I bought this and there is a world of difference. This is larger, better made and teh elastic is about the right length and strength. Sits nicely over my eye and I can use it to sleep in to deter me rubbing my eye or out and about to avoid dirt going in my eye or anyone seeing the redness. Suits me well!!

A pity it is not possible to get them from major chemists, 3 May 2013

LLoyds, among other chemists, has withdrawn patches from its shelves. Had to send of to the USA for a product made in China. Still good vlaue for money despite being shipped half-way round the world.
