Practical and inexpensive - what's not to like?, 19 Mar. 2015

I have a slightly deviated big toe on my left foot and so thought I'd try these. I had bought some silly socks in the past which supposedly separate all of your toes, but they just made my toes ache and feel numb after a while so they are now at the back of the drawer.This little thing really does the trick. It's very soft - almost gel-like. I wear it all the time, even with shoes and I'm not even aware I have it on.I can see the correction it is making and in time, I hope it will be permanent. I never wear heels but I think the winkle-pickers I wore in the eighties have had my big toe pay the price!I wore it in bed but really you need to wear a sock over it otherwise it'll flap about and annoy you every time you move - it did me!Really useful device and I will be buying more for my mum and others who feel in need of a correction. For the money, why not?

I have the beginnings of a bunion and was looking for something to help prevent it getting worse - this was just the job.

The gel is extremely soft and comfortable, can be worn just with socks on indoors, or with shoes to wear out. I have worn it with cowboy boots (all day walking around a shopping mall), trainers, walking boots, walking trainers, boots with heels (not great for a bunion I know but necessary sometimes) and plimsolls - in all cases completely unaware that it was there (I have absolutely no idea how one of the other reviewers managed to get blisters!!).

Whilst bought as purely a preventative measure when I remove it my toe stays straighter than it did before, not pressing on my second toe, and stays that way even by next morning, so it is definitely a positive step. I'm not saying it is reversing anything but it is stopping my toe from going further across and rubbing on my second toe, which was happening before.
