Best suited to oily skins, 25 Feb. 2012

I used this moisturiser for 3 months. I am 30 and have very awkward skin. It is acne prone with large pores but not particularly oily.

This moisturiser contains zinc and salicylic acid to heal and prevent blemishes. It goes on nicely and makes my skin feel soft. I suspect this is partly due to the dimethicone in it, as despite the initial softness this does not provide enough moisturisation for my skin. It also does not contain any spf so I used this as a treatment with an spf moisturiser over the top of this.

It does a reasonable job of keeping blemishes to a minimum, but did not completely prevent spots, nor did it make any difference to the appearance of my pores. I have since switched to Effaclar duo as a treatment, which also contains salicylic acid along with niacinamide which has prevented blemishes and lightened the red marks left from previous break outs.

Overall this is a a really low cost treatment for mild acne. The moisturisation...

This is an anti-imperfection daily moisturiser which contains salicylic acid and absorbent perlite and it aimed at oily skin which is prone to imperfections. This range is ideal for younger skin and my teenage son has found that this, plus the cleansing gel in the same range, have helped clear up his skin.I did wonder what perlite was and, according to the packaging, it is an ultra-absorbent mineral, that acts on imperfections such as shine, blackheads, cleansing and tightening pores and helping skin look more even. It hydrates, helps reduce spots and gives the skin a more matte appearance.The tube of moisturiser is quite small (40ml) although you do not need to use much. Like the cleansing gel, it has a fresh smell- a little like cucumber. It does feel quite cold when applied and makes your skin feel a little tight, but it is ideal for young skin, or anyone who suffers from shiny skin or blemishes.

works on middle age skin too, 25 Oct. 2015

Im mid 40's with combination skin and lots of imperfections! Id never have even looked twice about this as it looks like a product aimed at much younger skin but it says all ages so i thought id give it a go. Ive been using it for a few days and im impressed. i use it on one side of my face so i can compare results!This is a faintly blue cream in a tube with a fine nozzle. you dont need much each time so a tube should last a while. it goes on easily and sinks in quickly.the first time i used it it made the skin on part of my nose tingle but hasnt had any effect since,maybe i had a cut.i can definitely see my pores look reduced and my skin feels better on the side im using it.i shall keep on using it
