Works but contains Polyethylene, 14 Aug. 2015
I do suffer from oily skin and sometimes spots so thought this would be worth a try. It smells pleasantly of cucumber and is quite thick out of the tube. Although it is abrasive it is not excessive so, it doesn't feel like you are washing with sand paper, after use my skin did feel oil free and fresh, the chemicals used in it did not give my skin any tingling like some products can although as everyone is different this may not be the case with you.Why only 2 stars? Well it is my fault as I when I read the Amazon blurb it said the exfoliant was made from "fossil skeletons of the Diatomite algae". I did not realise it also contains Polyethylene micro beads if you look on the web you will find these things are becoming a concern as they are not stopped in the waste treatment plant and could be entering the food chain. There is enough plastic floating in the oceans without me adding to it so I will not be using this again.

Poor results, pity about Mother Nature, 1 Sept. 2015
I tried this product as an alternative to products with larger (more coarse) beads. Despite its marketing, the product failed to make much of an impact in comparison. What's (far) worse, reading about Garnier has put me off using their products again. On the plus side, the wash leaves a nice "sheen" on the face. Its also pleasantly scented. On the downside, the beads are too fine to really do much good. I found Original Source (with larger beads) to be far better at achieving the same for a similar price.Regardless of the qualities, companies that use ingredients that cause harm to our planet and animals is unforgiveable. I read up on Google regarding the water-polluting claims, which turned out to be far more accurate than I'd like. Also, Peta claim that Garnier test their products on animals, despite a very carefully worded statement by Garnier (which claims their "finished" products are not tested on animals). Hmmm....

Better results than the dermatologist-prescribed medicated creams. First cream to prevent and manage milia outbreaks., 21 Aug. 2015

My 23yo son has acne over his shoulders, and what look like tiny little raised freckles with white heads in them - milia - on his cheekbones. He's had antibiotics for them, creams that are left on the skin for longer and longer each day before washing off and non-soap cleansers, which have worked to varying degrees, but this is the first product that has made a real difference.

There have been no more outbreaks on his cheekbones and the spots on his back are less raised. He is using this in conjunction with the Garnier Naturals Pure Active Scrub for about 6 months now, with each tube lasting about 3 months at 3 applications or so a week, and these are the best ever results we've seen.

The gel isn't too thick, it smells of cucumber and the abrasive action isn't too harsh. My son finds this easiest to use in the shower, as getting rid of the residue takes a lot of washing (yes, he has one of those awful but apparently fashionable beards).

The only reason...
