L'Oréal

======

They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.

OK? Let's go..

WHAT IS IT

=========

It's an intense moisturiser. It's in packaging that's reminiscent of the old Nivea or Ponds creams. It has an inner foil.

You peel it back and voilà! moisturiser.

Lovely Cream But Horrendous Overpowering Floral Scent, 13 Feb. 2016

My first impressions were that this was a very small tub although as it had been advertised at just 50ml I did sort of know to expect this but the size still seemed quite small when I opened the outside packaging. The tub itself is obviously very pink and is a handy size for maybe packing in a small overnight bag or handbag. The cream can be used for up to 12months from opening however at 50ml it's unlikely if you like the cream that it would last anywhere near this long.

The cream itself applies nicely, soaks in well and I personally have not experienced any sticky or greasy feeling with the cream but this is where any positives about the cream end as it absolutely stinks. It has that old floral scent to it that all creams used to seem to have about 15years ago however it is extremely overpowering and if applying this liberally over your face and hands then it really is completely overpowering. It took me several hand and face washes to get the scent to lessen enough that I...

Slightly greasy finish and strong fragrance but decent moisturiser., 13 Jan. 2016
Small pot of intensive moisturiser that's quite thin and strongly fragranced but is easy to apply and does a decent job of relieving dry skin patches especially on the hands. The moisturiser is white and looks and feels more like a gel than a heavy cream but it does leave a slightly greasy residue that can take a while to disappear. Slightly surprising considering the product is meant for normal to dry skin rather than extra dry/sensitive skin. I do like this little pot of moisturiser. Reminds me of a good old fashioned cold cream. I use it regularly on my hands but wouldn't apply to my face if I wanted to wear foundation due to the shiny, greasy finish. Decent beauty basic.
