I'm very impressed., 2 Jan. 2016

I was keen to try this micellar water because I’d only heard of it recently – much to my friends’ surprise. I tested it wearing my usual makeup - powdered foundation, blusher, long-lasting eyeliner and mascara. I soaked a cotton ball in the solution and gently wiped away at the make up. From the second that the water touched my face until it evaporated, my skin felt beautifully cool and refreshed. I had to re-apply a little more water and gentle pressure to remove all traces of eye makeup, but because it was waterproof, I expected this. The foundation was removed with a single wipe and left no residue or stickiness.

I have sensitive eyes, so I normally use soap and water or wipes to remove makeup - because creams make them sting. I had no adverse reaction to this product and I’m very impressed with it.

A little tip from a doctor I know - to remove all the little fluff and lint particles from a wad of cotton wool, rub it between...

L'Oréal

======

They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.

OK? Let's go..

MICELLAR

========

It’s not a toner.

It’s not a cleansing milk.

It’s not a face wash.

It removes makeup and cleanses the skin, without the need for rinsing.

They've been available in French pharmacies for a while and are OK for sensitive skin.

I found that micellar water picked up residue that other cleansers left behind. I used a clean cotton pad, and found...

A Clean Sweep, 30 Dec. 2015
I've been using micellar waters for quick cleansing for a couple of years now and I am so pleased that Garnier have brought out an effective, affordable micellar range. I use this (Pure Active) and the green topped combination/sensitive skin one on a daily basis as morning cleansers and first stage of a double cleanse in the evening. I also use them on cotton buds for quick corrections of eye make up eg fallout from Urban Decay shadows and/or mascara messes.The ingredients list is the same for the white topped and green topped bottles, just in a slightly different order. Personally I find the Pure Active white topped cleanser slightly more drying so I use it on oiler skin days.Great value, extremely easy to use and can be easily decanted into smaller bottles for travel.
