My 23yo son's been under a dermatologist's care, without success. This is the only product that works on his acne (shoulders), 14 Aug. 2015

My son never had any issues with facial acne, but seems to have it on his shoulders, and after several years of flare-ups, we decided to consult a dermatologist. He's ended up using stuff that has to be placed on and timed, then washed off/stuff that gets used for increasing periods of time before being washed off/long-term antobiotics (Aknemycin), but nothing has worked. Until this miracle product.

He also has the misfortune to have skin that's prone to allergic reactions to new products, so I was apprehensive over him using this, but after just a couple of days' use, he began to see the difference. Spots are less bulbous and inflamed, and seem to come up less and fade more quickly than before treatment (they don't entirely go away - the spots lie dormant but flare up from time to time). I would say that the spots are definitely more manageable with this product, but that they're unlikely to go away, and they won't fade away. However, the appearance when he's not having a...

It works for me, 11 Aug. 2015

.

This is my daughter's' review:

I had seen good reviews about this product, and when it was offered via the Vine programme I asked my father to get it, after using it initially, I have really noticed the difference in my skin - really soft and clean, and this was after the first time I used it. Also this scrub has a lovely smell to it. I could tell a difference straight away. My skin isn't as oily as it used to be either, if anything my skin felt firmer and hydrated and as someone who gets spots on my forehead and chin, this scrub makes my complexion smooth clean and clear. When I use moisturiser it just absorbs that much better into my skin and I feel confident enough not to have to wear foundation which is a plus.

I would always recommend trying this product; my only caveat is that you should try a small area first, for “testing” the scrub on, just in case you get allergic reaction to it. That said I finally found something that helps...

Good for skin, bad for the environment, 21 Sept. 2015
It works well, I can't fault it for giving my skin a really good cleanse. I've used it for a few weeks and my face is glowing, blackheads significantly reduced and my skin feels soft and healthy, but I have to agree with other reviewers who've expressed concern about micro beads. I remember earlier this year watching Springwatch, where they talked about these little plastic particles getting into, and staying in, the water system. After you've given your face an invigorating, glow inducing scrub, these little plastic beads wash down the plug and through the filtration system, out into rivers and seas. It's pollution in a tube, and it's damaging to the environment and to wildlife. There are other ways to exfoliate the skin without causing environmental damage, such as using an exfoliating brush with a normal cleanser. Despite its effectiveness I can't say that this is a good product.
