L'Oreal Garnier Skin Naturals 2-in-1 Make-Up Remover, 17 Nov. 2015

This is a make-up remover for the face and eyes. It is suitable for oily skin, prone to imperfections, and aims to not only remove make-up but also target imperfections. Perfume free, this is ideal for younger skin, especially if prone to spots.It comes in a plastic, pump action bottle and is quite a thin gel. It removes make-up, although not as well as other products I have tried – it took 3 or 4 cotton wool balls to clear my make-up using this. Like other reviewers, I also found it left my skin a little dry and I needed to apply moisturiser afterwards.I asked my niece try this for a few days, to see if it helped her – much younger – skin, but she did not find any discernable difference. Overall, then, a basic make-up remover and, if you are prone to spots, you might like to give it a try. It works well, but there are better make up removers on the market.

Does exactly what it says on the, um, bottle, 26 Nov. 2015

I was very impressed with this gel. As it mentions on its packaging, it removes make-up, even waterproof make-up, in one easy step- and it’s true.It was very easy to use. With water and a small amount of gel it removed the make-up easily and left my skin feeling cleansed and soft. There was no greasy film left afterwards. My eyes felt refreshed and clean. No rubbing around the eyes was needed, it just glided off easily. The product is also perfume-free, which I think is a good thing when you’re using it at the end of the day.The pump bottle allows you to easily control the amount of the gel required. The 200ml bottle is going to last a while, as you don’t need much.I can’t fault this make-up remover. It’s very good value, and it does exactly what it says it will do, with very little mess or fuss.

Gets face paint off, 7 Dec. 2015

I have been using this gel to remove face paint from my daughters. They seem to get invited to a lot of theme-based birthday parties by their school friends and I am happy to say I am able to paint their faces for them ... however, getting the stuff off, particularly around the eyes and the hairline is sometimes really rather a chore.Anyway, this product really does make it a lot easier; not very much gel is required, very little rubbing is needed and the complaints are much reduced. My wife has tried it and tells me it is not bad, but she does have better (and more expensive makeup removers) that she would not use on the girls' skin.So I like it and when it's all gone I shall purchase another for my face paint kit.
