This Garnier Ultra Lift Complete Beauty Day Cream has an UVA.UVB SPF protection of 15 and claims to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, firm skin and even the complexion. These are quite large claims, but, as always, the get out clause is in the words reducing the ‘appearance’ of wrinkles. This cream has regenerative plant cells and is marketed as an anti-wrinkle, anti-age spots and radiance boosting day cream for ages 35 – 55.
In effect, this is really a moisturiser cream, enriched with the regenerative plant cells and UVA/UVB protection. In that sense, this is a good all round face cream and, certainly, it has added ingredients which will help prevent ageing. The cream does certainly leave your skin feeling very refreshed and nicely moisturised and, hopefully, there will be some reduction in fine lines over time.

Another little gem from Garnier. This Garnier Ultra Lift day cream comes in a small little red tub (completely plastic, which makes a nice change from the overly heavy glass ones that most of these products are supplied in) and has a lovely soft feminine perfumey scent about it (which I know some woman will either love or hate). The texture is very soft, not overly thick and definitely not greasy or oily - the texture reminds me a little of yoghurt and is easily smoothed and spread into the skin without leaving any residue and needing to be blotted.
It's so light, I don't actually feel like I'm wearing any cream. I have none of that strange tackiness that always seems to hang around my forehead (with Nivea, sometimes it never seems to absorb on the head and seems to just remain shiny and tacky), and my skin feels lovely and velvety. Hubby has 51yo skin that sees a lot of the outdoors in most weather - as well as being very sensitive. He's irritated by changes in washing up liquid, hand wash, fabric conditioner, deodorant, etc., and occasionally has to resort to hydrocortisone cream to calm irritation down. I fully expected that he'd try this 'miracle' cream and pronounce it not a miracle cream. BUT, this has worked wonders.
Not only has he not had any adverse effects, but in the space of one week, his crow's feet are less pronounced and when he smiles, the skin on the side of his face between his eyes and the start of his hairline, is far smoother and less bunched up in wrinkles.
