In-Gowing Toenail, 5 May 2013

I attempted to get a product for the purpose of helping with the management of an ingrowing toenail from my local chemist but the assistant went off to the pharmacist and came back shaking her head. So decided to try Gehwol. To my surprise it acted within days and softened the hard skin where the nail was in-growing allowing me for the first time to access the offending nail. I have been giving the skin a few days to recover and then applying the fluid again to remove the next layer. After a month or so the results are very promising with the toe reducing in size considerably (reduced amount of skin) and the swelling that was painful. It will remain to be seen if the nail continues to in-grow or whether Gehol has softened it sufficiently to stop this. The reason it didn't get a five was because I am not yet sure it has provided a long term solution. Also it is difficult to determine how much fluid is being the dispensed so I believe I am actually wasting some which is of some concern...

It works, 29 April 2013

Have had two nail operations on either side of toe. ouchy. The nail has since formed a hard ridged peak down the centre causing shoes to become uncomfortable. I bought this and 3 weeks later the nail is flattening out and gaining its shape back.Great product!
