Silky and easy application, 27 Jan. 2016

I have been using cheaper gel eyeliner for years, because I found it easiest to apply and control. However, even the tiny pots as they are, are too much for me to spend them in a reasonable time limit. I realised I'd been using my last pot for past 3 years when my eyes got mildly irritated. So out it went and it was a time for the replacement. I gradually swapped all of my make-up for mineral (with the exception of smashbox primer) and now I decided to do the same with the eyeliner too. Some of the previous reviews mentioned it's smoothness and I concur. It is brilliant in this respect, application is very easy especially with the appropriate brush. On the other hand, I can't agree with those that said they didn't get any smudges or lines. I get them with every single thing I use on my eyes, be it an eye shadow or a liner, pencil - makes no difference, it is just how my eyes are, I guess. With the use of a base (primer, shadows) it gets slightly better though. I have only purchased...

Brilliant - I will buy another one in another colour if it's available.I out it on in the morning, deliberately rubbed my eyes whenever I wanted to, and yes because I wasn't taking any care at all it did smudge, but not very much. So I know that if I am careful, it should last really well and not end up half way down my face.I just wish I had a suitable brush, so I am off to find one now. You will need a thin eyeliner brush of some kind.

Doesn't even last 2 hours!, 12 Feb. 2018

Doesn't full fill the claim of being smudge proof for me. Applied to clean skin with a light application of tinted moisturiser. The liner does apply really smoothly and does leave a clean line with no rough edge. I can easily get a neat narrow line with a flick and layer it up if a thicker more striking look is required. The only problem is, within 2 hours the liner is already causing a shadow around my upper eyelid/brow bone which makes me look like I have a misplaced arc of dark makeup. I had hoped to get longer than 2 hours from the application but its was too good to be true. I cant mark it any higher than 3 stars as one of the big claims is the staying power and its just not there. Depth of colour and application is spot on. So, its it the eyeliner grave like all the rest, and I shall continue my search!
