It goes on thick, but is non greasy. More suited for the winter months, providing good protection against the wind and cold.The big 200ml bottle will last ages, but it's so thick that getting the product out can be a problem.

I was given a 200ml bottle of Geo F Trumper's moisturising lotion a few weeks ago and have used it virtually every day since; it's thick and silky, but still absorbs into the skin quickly with no greasiness afterwards. As with any good moisturiser, you only need a small amount to feel the benefits of it, so a bottle this size should last a good few months at least.

Using the Trumper's on my face and neck, it did a good enough job but no better than pretty much any other moisturiser or face balm I've tried. It left the skin looking matte and feeling smooth, though, so the bottle I've got certainly wouldn't be wasted if I used it on this area. It didn't have any effect on my shaving rash the couple of times I used it after shaving, but I guess that it wasn't really intended to be used in this way so that's quite forgivable.

Whilst it is a bit expensive, it does last a while and leaves the skin cooler after a good shave
