Geo F Trumper's Sandalwood skin food is a specially formulated light, non oily, glycerine based product that can be used before or after the shave. When used as a pre shave, Trumper's skin food softens the bristles, adding nourishment to protect the skin and allows the razor to glide giving a comfortable shave. Using a small amount of skin food after a shave seals the skin while soothing, nourishing and moisturising the newly shaved skin. The masculine sandalwood scent comes from a blend of woody undertones with subtle top notes of pepper.

Smells nice but not much else going for it., 3 July 2015

For £22.00 I was expecting a good product. Read the reviews and thought I'd give it a go. I currently use the Prorasa postshave balm and am always looking to try other similar products. This is no way near as good as the Prorasa. I have particularly sensitive skin and thick beard hair, and the Prorasa gives me all day protection from the drying and irritation I get from shaving with one application. I tried this stuff for the first time after a shave and I got a few hours relief before I needed to apply more. Except I couldn't because I was at work. I was left irritable the rest of day until I got home. So as a postshave balm (for me) lt was a bit of a failure. As a preshave balm it made no difference to my skin or beard hair. Again the Prorasa stuff actually softens the beard hair making shaving less of a pain for me. Finally I tried it as a facial moisturiser for a month and it did an OK job. A poor relation to the other skin foods, 10 Jan. 2011
Fast delivery in a time of severe weather. Pleasant, but not as good as the lime or coral skin food. I found this a poor relation to the other two skin foods. The scent was extremely weak, bearly noticable in fact. I don't know if it is meant to be this weak or if the product was just old. I certainly wouldn't buy this product again due to my not being satisfied with it.
