In my experience, shaving foams can vary between being quite creamy, smooth and rich to being what I can only describe as "dry". This is the dry type. It's difficult to get an even coverage as it doesn't apply onto the face as smoothly as some others (including others made by Gillette) so it takes a little longer and ends up looking rather lumpy. On the whole I prefer smooth, creamy shaving foams, so I won't be buying this one again.
