Vary Good Shave, 8 Feb. 2011
Just had my first shave with one of these and I was vary impressed. From the first stroke I could feel how well a job it was doing. It will be interesting to see how long one blade will last me, particularly as Gilette are getting vary stingy (the razor I brought only came with one blade - and it said only one blade on the packet I had too! :-O, which is a bit tight of them considering the price.)I had no proplem shaving under the nose as some have been complaining about but I could also sense that any more blades and it would have been a little tricky. So in summary; a vary good product that gives a close comfortable shave. It's just a shame that the blades are so pricey - you're paying through the nose for the name, that's all it is really.

Best Gillette Shave yet, 1 Jan. 2010
I changed from using an electric razor to wet shaving when the Mach 3 razor was released. It provided a good shave but the blades were only at their best for a couple of weeks. I have used the Fusion Power since it was released and can confirm that it is just about perfect. The blades last for ages 6-8 weeks and require a minimum number of strokes to achieve an acceptable morning shave, in turn minimising post-shave irritation. I used to use a post-shaving balm but have not needed to do so. The single rear blade is very useful for accurate sideboard demarcation. Whilst the curse of Gillette seems to have affected Tiger, Thierry and even Roger, it remains a superb product.

"The Best a Man Can Get" - Dont think so!!!, 2 Oct. 2008

I feel sorry for guys who think this is "The Best A Man Can Get!".

I used to be one of those guys who follwed Gillettes "add another blade" marketing rubbish in search for a better shave with less irritaion.

I have tried every Gillette razor including the Sensor Excel, Mach 3, M3 Power and now the Gillette Fusion.

With everyone I have suffered from ingrown hairs and shaving bumps.

The Fusion itself looks very cool, with its bright orange and blue colour scheme.

However the razor itself is terrible.

The 5 blades are far to close together hwith causes terrible razor drag.

Not only that but it gets clogged very easily and can be a nightmare to clean.

The razor head is far to big and you get no control whats so ever.

I like the single blade on the back, this does a decent job when trimming sideburns or beards but at £2.50 for a razor cartridge replacement, Gillette can take a running jump to themself.

I began doing some investigation into...
