The market is saturated with wet-razors, all with overpriced blades because once you've bought their razor, they've got you over a barrel. This in my opinion is the best of the middle-range: enough cutting blades to do a neat job, not so many that they clog or are too big for small spaces round your nose and chin. They'd like you to change blades every week: piffle! My face has more than just bum-fluff yet these blades last ages longer. Changing blades is simple. Some of the all-singing all-dancing razors weigh half a ton yet all the gizmo bits make them no better and you get lumbered with extra costs for swanky blades that promise the Earth yet deliver nothing extra. It is possible to go too cheap in this market, two of my forays into supermarket own-brand cheap three-blade razors left me with cuts. Some 3-blade premium brand disposables can be ok, very little to choose financially or in performance, but these just edge it for balance, effectiveness and price. Steve Riches,...
