Smoothest ever, 2 Sept. 2008

I have to completely disagree with the other review. I think the blades give a very close shave. The gel bars wear down evenly and last a while. The good thing is, is that you can still use the blade when the bars have worn down if it's still sharp.The gel bars give great slip to the blades. Overall i'm very impressed, and i rate it over the standard gillette blades.

Didn't get 5 due to the price, 17 April 2010

I will admit to being a clumsy shaver and no shaving gels or razors have ever left me without nicks and cuts, but this one did! It's amazingly smooth, my legs still feel great after two days and not one single snag! I can't recommend this enough.

Shaving without a hassle - for the first week only., 9 Dec. 2013

I cannot imagine what life was like before Gillette. I use their products every day, without fail. And whilst I was excited to try the Breeze innovation, I was left disappointed. The blades are quite pricey and, in my personal experience, do not last that long and are damaged well before the gel runs out and/or the blades become blunt.

Okay, the built-in shave gel bars seem like an amazing idea (and they smell good!) - just wet, glide and shave. And it all worked well for the first week. Then I left my razor on the somewhat wet bathroom shelf and the gel bars swelled and the razor was unusable from that moment on (i.e. because of the swelled gel bars, the actual razors could not reach the skin). From that point on I was careful to not leave the razor wet, but it seems just the dump environment of my bathroom damages the gel bars. If they don't swell, they just fall off.

I still think that this could be wonderful to take on a short holiday, and not bother about...
