Gentlemen Only is a modern homage to the classic fragrance of the house - Givenchy Gentlemen from 1974. This fragrance was once revolutionary amongst masculine fragrance introducing strong and intense woody notes instead of the traditional aromatic and citrusy ones. Gentlemen Only is intended for men of our times; it is designed around modern woody nuances. The composition opens with fresh and spicy accords of green mandarin, pink pepper, nutmeg and birch leaves. Deep and intense woody character is provided by the heart of cedar, patchouli and vetiver. The base captures incense and animalistic notes.

A Gorgeous Scent for the Man who Means Business, 28 Mar. 2015

This is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance, which I bought from the John Lewis store in High Wycombe. I buy a lot of men's fragrances and this is definitely one of the nicest. It's neither too sweet nor too musky. The perfume is clearly a very masculine scent, with a perfect fusion of aromas of lemon, wood and brandy (don't let that put you off!). I work as a solicitor and I regularly wear this fragrance in the office, it's attracted more than one positive remark from staff. I also wear it socially, my girlfriend loves the scent. If I use this fragrance first thing in the morning, I can still smell it at lunchtime, but it's certainly not overpowering, unlike some perfumes. Highly recommended.

Another nice fragrance worthy of consideration, and at a reasonable price, is Armani Code - Giorgio Armani Code Eau de Toilette for Men - 50 ml. Armani Code is a somewhat sweeter scent than Givenchy's Intense, it's a very nice, refreshing and lemony scent.

Smells fantastic. I love this aftershave, its fresh and always gets me lots of comments. I have worn it for sometime and can still smell it on me. For some reason, probably owing to my sensitive skin, many aftershaves like Fahrenheit now dry my skin out (never used to mind) which results in well spots etc especially in shaving areas like the neck, but this one does not do that, which is a huge bonus. Really great buy in my opinion.

Didn't quite live up to the usual Givechly smell!, 14 Aug. 2013
Arrived in good time along with another Givency product I ordered, but this new fragrance didn't quite live up to the usual Givechy Eau de toilette smell! Would not make another purchase of this one........
