This review is from my 29 year old daughter who is a part time banker and a part time actress/singer/dancer/children's entertainer so I would assume she knows a bit about cosmetics and their application. Should do - she spends enough money and time on them!

First thing I noticed was a really cheap and nasty, drawstring, black bag - I guess to carry them in? Certainly not the sort of bag I would want to leave on any of my dressing tables. However, better things were to be found inside, fourteen make up brushes ranging from small brushes for eyeliner up to bigger ones for blushers etc. Each brush is solidly made and gives the impression of decent quality, at least the couple I have used so far give me that feeling, sort of a mid range product which actually at £12 for 14 brushes is good value. Make a really good present if manufacturers 'Glow' could get...

My wife loves these brushes! She's used brushes from Mac, Charlotte Tilbury and Dior and says these really hold their own considering what they cost. To put in in perspective, ONE Mac brush cost almost 3x the cost of this entire set, which is really comprehensive. The only thing missing, apparently, is a 'stippler' brush.
They come in bag to keep them together, which is functional rather than attractive, and each is packaged in a clear plastic sheath to keep them nice in transit. In use they are pleasant to hold and provide the necessary effects you'd want from each brush type.
As already said, these are way better than they should be for the money, and represent amazing value. If you're looking for a stocking filler for a young lady that likes her makeup, these would make an ideal gift. Don't think it's just a gift item though, these are something you'll enjoy for yourself; if you've been watching some YouTube makeup videos and need a brush you don't have, just...

A fairly okay set of brushes. As with the other glow brush sets, there doesn't seem to be any fluffy loose blending brushes for eyeshadow. There's a few flat brushes for applying and packing on eyeshadow, and a few dense brushes play for blending very small areas in the socket or under the eye, but nothing that's gentle for excessive,blending for really soft well blended looks. This has a pencil brush which is nice (is shaped like the tip of a pencil so you can apply dark shades to the crease without spreading to the upper lid), and a flat blender, but the flat angled blending brush is a bit stiff and sort of stabby.
The blusher/highlight brushes are the only real soft brushes, the rest are small detailed brushes ideal for eyebrows and eyeliner, not really eyeshadow.
Comes in a little black woven sack. Would buy this set for someone if it was priced at maybe £4.99 or if I needed a lot of small detailing brushes, perhaps. More soft fluffy brushes really need to be...
