This is a relatively cheap beard balm, with fairly average performance to match. It's a very soft, almost buttery consistency that doesn't require much liquidising in the hands at all. Scent is ok, quite soapy. It does a reasonable job of tidying up the beard, but has little to no hold to it. I don't think it has any wax or equivalent in it, so if you're looking to tame a fly-away/straggly beard I wouldn't recommend this. Once applied it retains something of a wet look, and is mildly greasy to the touch.
The list of ingredients is fairly long and contains some stuff I've got no idea about. This goes against the trend of using a handful of chemical-free ingredients that you'll find with modern premium beard brands - Percy Nobleman, Detroit Beard etc - and as a result it's not something I'd be keen on using long term.
The tin is oversized for the contents, too deep to be unobtrusive in a trouser pocket. No reason why it shouldn't be in a shallower container, since...
