Finally!! An effective mascara for very sensitive skin, 9 Jun. 2013

I have had mild eczema and very sensitive skin since I was a child (now in my mid 20s) and have always had to be very careful when using cosmetic products as I am prone to reactions. I had previously been using a Clinique mascara but, after a few years, had developed a slight allergy to their product and was in search of a new alternative which delivered the same great results.

After a lot of internet research into the best mascaras for sensitive / eczema-prone skin I came across Green People and decided to give it a shot after seeing the short ingredients list (always a good sign) and good reviews. When the mascara arrived I was quite disappointed as the tube was rather small for the not-so-cheap price tag and the brush seemed a little strange (bendy and very thin wand) but I have been AMAZED with the results. With just one or two coats my eyelashes are long and thick, beautifully curled and a perfect black - best of all, no itchiness, no reaction, no dryness and no teary...

Received this mascara a few days ago and I've been wearing it every day since and shamefully, have not even taken it off at night time....I do not find it itchy or irritating so far...with normal mascaras I can often be tearing my eyes out by evening time. So..so far so good. I find it doesn't smudge as long as you don't touch your eyes too much. Obviously, if you are always placing your hands near your eyes, then your going to get smudging with any mascara. Thats a 'no brainer' as it's not waterproof. However, it doesn't melt down under the eyes like I've seen other mascaras do. This usually happens when there is moisturizer on the face or some oils present and then the mascara sort of bleeds under your lower lids. But, not this one....I have applied this mascara straight after applying moisturizer, and it has stayed put. The mascara itself it a lovely jet black matt finish and it goes on with nice small brush which gives long strokes separating my lashes and leaving them looking...

best mascara I've ever used, 20 Jan. 2014

Very impressed with this mascara, it performs as well as the popular brands on the high street. I didn't find any smudges appearing through the course of the day under the eye area, gave me the same volumised look as my previous brand. Overall very pleased, especially to know that it doesn't contain any nasty chemicals. Love it
