I was expecting a one pass type product that would be better for the condition of my hair, 26 Jun. 2016

I currently have Remmington Silk straighteners which have served me well, but when I saw the reviews on these straighteners I decided to order them. I was expecting a one pass type product that would be better for the condition of my hair. However it took several attempts to straighten.After returning the product I researched the reviews, I saw that many had received their straighteners at a discount rate in exchange for a good review. At the discount rate the straighteners may very well have been worth the money, but at £95 my expectations were greater.I am still looking for straighteners and have looked at the USA professional Titanium (in red), and the H2D VI professional infrared but am undecided. Both seem to suggest good conditioning qualities but need to live up to expectations.

As good as GHDs if not better., 10 April 2016

ooooh! I was so excited to get these straighteners. i straighten my hair every day and the best straighteners I have ever used are GHDs, but since they died I've been using Remingtons - much cheaper and work almost as well. There are now so many high end alternatives to GHDs so I was really interested to know how these would work.

They came in a great box, well presented and with a bag to store them in too which is a really nice touch. I was struck immediately by how pretty the straighteners are, a lovely matte gold colour. They look so great! I plugged them in and switched them on and a green light came on, and the digital display started showing they were heating up. They heated so quickly, seriously impressed! There are arrow buttons that allow you to turn the heat up or down, depending on your hair type. I found them really easy to use, they just glide down the hair without catching or snagging. I got perfect hair so quickly, these work so well that you don't need to go over...
