They really look the part(even arrive in a neat little bag) but I find that occasionally they trap whiskers rather than cut them which can be rather painful. They appear sharp enough so perhaps the arms are not aligned perfectly or they are not held together firmly enough.

Possible a good product but not for me., 13 Jun. 2015

I really did want to like these but I can't. The just arnt as perfect as I thought they would be. They are made of a nice metal with a good finish and are reasonable comfortable for the fingers. But the proble is I always keep going back to using a general purpose pair of scissors I bought for half the price. For a start this pair are just to pointed and as I am using a mirror I tend to use the scissors to find their exact position by touching my face with them. This results in sharp stabs. There is really no need for such a sharp point, it borders on dangerous. The blades also feel loose but although there is a screw to hold them together it seems more decorative than functional as even with the blades pretty loose when open I can't turn it and suspect it is fixed in position. So the blades never give that sound and feeling of blade on blade with a very positive cutting effect. In short they do not inspire confidence and if I don't get stabbed by them I am almost sure at some point...

I found these scissors easy to handle and I would recommend these to persons of limited dexterity as it can be hard to trim beard hair in a mirror. They are very sharp and cut coarse wiry hair with ease.Unlike others I had no problems with whiskers getting caught between the blades, they seem well made high quality scissors especially given their current price.
