Quality and a great shave at a very fair price., 16 Feb. 2017

After finding I couldn't buy twin blade re-fills for my contour razor , and it seemed I had to buy triple blades I thought this is getting silly , what are we up to now- 3,4, 5 blades is it . This I think is just marketing! So I was very pleased to find that not only could I still get standard razor blades, but I didn't have to buy an old Gillette butterfly razor from e-bay at £40 plus. Amazingly people are still making good Quality butterfly razors at very decent prices. This razor looks and feels top notch! It's very retro and practical and seems as good as others at twice the price! Like others it comes in a very good snap , shapely case with a mirror in the lid and a place for spare blades. You need to buy your blades, but I was lucky our local "Boyes" store had some at a bargain price. Now I have got used to it's larger head and weight , it's a delight to use. Nicely made, and very nicely priced. This razor does seem to be sold under several brand names, and you may save a few pounds buying this. Whilst I have only been shaving with a safety razor for a couple of months, so I'm certainly no expert.... I can honestly say I am enjoying the whole soap/brush/safety razor experience. I guess I now actually enjoy shavingSo no more ...Twin blade,Triple blade, FUSION, MACH-THIS, MACH-THAT, PRO-THIS, PRO-THAT, lube strip ......6 blade!!!!No thank you.No more over packaged £25 "value" packs with "up to 30 shaves" ......nope ....seriously you should try 3 shaves per blade @ 10 pence.per blade. Try it.

Arrived quickly. Smart mirrored case. Looks of good quality. Was hoping it would come with at least one blade just to test how I would get on with this razor but have had to order separately so not able to comment on use yet. Update, Wilkinson Sword blades arrived from chemist.direct (brilliant price) and very very happy with the sharp features I can get on my slim trim beard with this item. Much better than any multiple blade and dramatically cheaper as ten blades (buy separately) will last a year!. Cant speak highly enough.
