Wife's review: Use this between salon colouring once the grey hairs start to show. I found this product was 'gloopy' when applied to dry hair, and left the hair feeling sticky and flat; however, a small amount applied to the roots of freshly washed and towel dried hair, then massaged in (use gloves) did the trick nicely - the hair looks soft once dry and grey hairs covered well. I bought the medium brown for fairly dark brown hair, it is a decent brown colour, and blended in well. Found it stayed on after next wash, unlike other wand applicators, which makes it a reasonable price in my view.

hair mascara to cover stray greys, 12 Aug. 2011
I am 63 and have a few grey hairs, but mostly my hair is still dark brown. I don't really want to colour it all, as I like it's natural colour, but want to blend in the grey. I have used this hair mascara several times over the last couple of years, and it works really well on the grey hairs that I target, plus lasts through several washes. I don't try to get the full length of the hair, just next to my scalp where they show up more obviously. I just whizz the mascara brush through when I see a new grey. Only problem is that you soon run out of the mascara and have to buy more - also, like any mascara, you can't see how much is left in.
