So I love putting my hair up in a bun, and because I have fine hair sometimes it can look like a little bit of a sorry top not. So I decided to go back to the old school method of using a hair bun. This is exactly as described absolutely massive! I would recommend it if your hair falls into the following categories;

~ You have hair longer than shoulder length and a lot of hair

~ If you have really long, but a lot of fine hair

~ If you have on the shoulder hair but again a lot of it

Because the bun is so big you do need a lot of hair for it to look natural. I have fine, medium thickness of hair and it falls just on my shoulder blade and this was not enough to cover it all around. So after using some volumising and thickening spray it did my hair the rough texture to be able to manipulate it round the bun and secure it with a hair grip underneath the bun. Arrived nicely packaged in a clear plastic packet through which the product could easily be seen inside. Item was nicely protected and arrived in pristine perfect condition. Cardboard slip inside clearly showed the brand & product name on one side and easy to follow diagram instructions on the other.

The doughnut itself was nice & big, I would describe it as being Jumbo. Perfect, just what I was after for a mega bun in my hair. The doughnut is nice and chunky too and a really good quality, not flimsy like some of the other cheapo ones I have had in the past. The material is really good and is netted so the hair really clings to it helping to keep it all together. I would say this style of doughnut will be more suited to those with long thick hair.

I purchased the brown for my very dark hair, the donut is quite a dark brown not light so is perfect for my shade. It is virtually invisible.

This hair bun literally is massive, it appears to be good quality and long lasting.It's quite easy to place in the hair of instructions are followed, the fibres on the bun don't stretch or pull on hair.Definitely something for medium/long hair, and only takes a minute or so to put in place. I would reccomend the brown bun for medium/light brown hair, for dark brown I would reccomend the black bun.I was offered this product at a discounted rate in return for my honest review.
