A good fit for basin mixer tap, 18 April 2012

Ordered on Sunday and arrived Tuesday morning.I hesitated ordering this as there were complaints of it being too small for some mixer taps, however as the overall reviews are positive and because it is cheap I took the risk.When I first secured it onto the tap water spurted everywhere but after pushing the attachment further onto the tap it is working a treat. It is a very tight and snug fit (as it needs to be). I have put my taps on full blast and it remained secure with no leaks. The mouth of the tap is 2.5cm in diameter which I imagine is a standard basin mixer tap.As I have only had this for less than a week I cannot comment on its durability. For now I am very satisfied with my purchase as it is exactly what I was looking for.

There are few single tap shampoo hoses on the market. I know that because I have scoured the internet far and wide. I have purchased this one before from Seaview Shavers and struggled to find it again for some reason. This hose seems a little bit longer than the last and has a much better fit. When the rubber starts to wear (after months of use) the hose would often come off the tap, not nice if you were having an actual shower with it, and not great for the water all over the floor. But this one hasn't done that yet (touch wood) so I'm well impressed and the price is great too. We only have a very large Jacuzzi bath which has one massive single tap that you can't fit any extensions on. The tap in the bathroom sink (and kitchen) is also a single mixer tap, so I have struggled to find something so I can wash my hair and have the occasional shower down. Plus it's great for washing the bath. Would definitely recommend.

My hairdresser comes to us and I was fed up with having to shower or use a jug to rinse hair colour every visit. This is the perfect solution. It fits my kitchen (swan neck) mixer tap and my bathroom basin mixer tap both with excellent flow. JUST be sensible about the type of tap you have. Brilliant fit on taps of the same diameter to the end (no widening or narrowing) with at least 1" of bend to push the hose onto. Good service - I ordered the hose on Tuesday and it came on Thursday. Can't wait for my next hair appointment.Five months on and its still as good as ever.
