I normally cut hair for my families as the barbershop is a waste of time and money. They always can not get what I want. I used to use standard scissors but it is blunt. I ordered this professional set of barber scissors. It comes with a black comb and two scissors in a good carry case. It is very convenient to store or bring out for travel. The scissors are made of high class stainless steel and very sharp. Feel really durable and can last for years.They are exactly same as what is being used in barbershop. The handle is ergonomic design. It makes me feel like professional barber (The scissors have finger rest). The scissors have special shining coating. I noticed that when I hold it, there are rubber around the finger for comfortable grip. 2 scissors for different purpose. One is for normal cutting. The other is for thinner purpose. Great and sufficient for families use. Will recommend.

Bought these to replace my existing scissors for cutting my own hair, based on the premise they appeared more professional and would give a better cut. (was using some old standard thinning scissors combined with regular non-hairdressing orange scissors that can find in supermarkets).However, they are actually worse than what I was using. The thinning scissors 'catch' and 'slip' more often than my old pair and the main scissors just feel less comfortable whilst providing no advantages over my old pair.
