How to Care :

As a starting hairdresser I use those dolls a lot. First I used to use them in a college, after for improving my skills and trying something new at home. So i was looking forward to get one more especially this one because it has long hair (24 inch). It arrived very quickly, packed safely in a carton box. It included a clamp as well which to be honest was a let down. It's not sturdy enough and requires quite lots of force to set it up. After I managed to put it on and started to brush the hair the had was really wobbly so it's not good tu use at all. However, because I have other boll joints adjustments from other mannequins I used them and it was fine. The actual hair doesn't feel like 80% of human hair and while brushing they were falling out quite lot. I think I will use it for cuts only as I'm not sure can these hair handle washing, too much brushing and hairspray. For cuts it will do perfect job as the hair are long enough. I guess it would be nice to use it for makeup as usually...

I received the item within the specified timeframe. The hair although straight, feels quite coarse. The mannequin is good to be used to learn different hair styles as long as you don't mind braids loosening straight after plaiting. This could be down to the texture. It also tangles quite easily which leads to a lot of shedding when detangling. I've also noticed that combing it a lot makes the texture of the ends of the hair coarser.
There are no instructions on how to set up the clamp but it is easy to figure out. The clamp it was supplied with occasionally loosens if hair is not combed delicately. By that I mean that it may get loose and slide off the table it's clamped to.
It measures approximately 24 inches when measured from the top of the head to the full length of the hair which corresponds with the photo advertised.
Overall it is a good buy, but due to the tangling and shedding, I'm not sure how long it would last in the long run and whether it...
