Can't believe it!, 17 April 2013

When I was a teenager (don't ask what decade!) I used to sleep, or try to, in the old fashioned prickly curlers and pins. I had long hair that was heavy and just a bit wavy. Boy did I lose some sleep. And did my hair stay put in them? No, it didn't. Anyway I thought I'd try these, they aren't expensive and to be honest I wasn't expecting much. But they do actually work! I am now a mature lady with just about shoulder length, layered hair. It is thinning on top (thank you ma and pa for the genes!), but still fairly thick from the crown down. The bits on top aren't too long but some of the hair down the sides and back is still a few inches long, so it takes a bit of winding. I bought two similar packs of these making 24 in all, and my hair used them all up, with a bit to spare so I had to use a few non-sleep velcro ones. I've now bought a third pack! Good for long, thick hair... not so good for fine hair, 4 Feb. 2014

My daughter ordered these, wanting volumised hair as she has seen pop stars sporting.We ordered and they arrived almost immediately!These were a real test for her hair as it is thick and long.These sleep in rollers are very easy to put in, even if you are not very good at doing your own hair. She has no patience and coped just fine!Couple of tips -1. Wash and rough blow dry your hair.2. Put rollers in clockwise to get bouncy hair. Use one grip per roller. This took her about an hour.3. Put a little normal hairspray in.These take a bit of getting used to in order to sleep soundly as although they are soft you do know you have them in your hair.We have tried these in my other daughter's hair (fine and long) and they tangled awfully to the extent she cried when we tried to remove them so I would say these are more suited to thicker and/or shorter hair.

Really nice. Handy size, easy to use and comfortable. I do have very fine hair though so not sure how they would work with thick hair. Yes, very positive results.
